What I do

I’m working towards financial independence and early retirement. Most of what I earn from investing comes from selling options. In plain terms: someone pays me upfront, and in return I agree to buy or sell a stock at a set price by a set date. I only do this on companies I’d be happy to own for years.

Each trade takes about 15 minutes to set up. Then I wait for the date to arrive.

Why share it

Most of what’s written about selling options is either a course for sale or a screenshot of someone’s best week. This is the full record instead: every trade, what it paid, the months that went badly, and the months with no trades at all.

The name

Mosaic, because every investing decision is made with incomplete information. You piece the picture together as you go.

Pathfinder, because the route to early retirement this way isn’t well marked, and it may never be fully clear. Logging it in public leaves tracks for whoever comes next.

What this isn’t

It’s not a course, a signal service, or advice. It’s one person’s record, including the trades that went badly.

This is a journal, not a recommendation to buy or sell. Options trading carries risk, and past results don’t guarantee future outcomes.
